A number of years ago, Bishop Murphy instituted an award which would be given every year to a parishioner or a couple of every parish in the diocese in honor of their service to the parish community and the Diocese.  He named it the St. Agnes Medal after the patroness of the Diocese.  This year Bishop Barres will honor Valerie Ansalone for her service to our parish community here at Immaculate Conception.  Valerie have ministered for years as a lector, and Eucharisic Minister.  She serves as an Altar Server at our funerals and as a sacristan.  She was previously on the Parish Council and was a catechist.  The medal will be presented on October 28th at St. Agnes Cathedral by Bishop Barres.  Congratulations to Valerie!

For now, we continue our walk with the Lord.
