This weekend we begin the season of Advent.  A time to prepare our hearts and minds for the coming of Christ both at the end of time and at Christmas as we commemorate His birth.  There are various ways to prepare, one way is through prayer.  During the Mondays of Advent we will have Exposition and Preached Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and end with Night Prayer, starting at 8pm.  It is an opportunity to pray before the Blessed Sacrament, reflecting on God’s love for us through the birth of His Son.   It is also an opportunity to pray part of the Liturgy of the Hours as a community of faith.

Immaculate Conception
Saturday, December 8th is the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception.  It is a holy day of obligation as it is the patronal feast of the United States.  It is also our Parish Feast Day!  We will have Mass in Spanish on Thursday, December 7th at 7pm.  We will have 8 am Mass, and 12 noon Mass in English on December 8th.  The 5pm Mass on Saturday will be the Mass for the Second Sunday of Advent.  For now, we continue our walk with the Lord.
