For over 10 years, the Parish has participated in Maureen’s Haven.  Maureen’s Haven is a non-for-profit organization which helps shelter the homeless in cooperation with various houses of worship on the East End of Long Island.  Their season run from October to March/April.  Our parish shelters the homeless on the Second and Fourth Sundays of the month during their season.  While Maureen’s Haven checks the homeless and provides transportation to the various sites which shelter the homeless, our parish helps to set up Our Lady’s Hall for the clients to come in. So we need volunteers to help set up and clean up.  We need volunteers to help serve dinner and breakfast.   Most importantly we need volunteers who will spend the night to safeguard the clients.  If you are able to help in any of those ways please contact Mary Beth Finnegan,, who coordinates our homeless ministry in conjunction with Maureen’s Haven.

For now, we continue our walk with the Lord.
