Easter is a very special time for the Church.  At the Easter Vigil, we typically baptize, confirm and give First Communion to adults who were never baptized, or we welcome those who have been baptized in other Christian communities, with Confirmation and First Communion.  At the Easter Vigil, last Saturday, we baptized and confirmed two people and welcomed another into the Church.  This Sunday, within the Octave of Easter, we will baptize and confirm one and welcome another into the Church.  Next Saturday and the following Saturday, we will celebrate the Sacrament of the Confirmation with about 50 of our young people.  In May, we will celebrate First Communions with about 50 of our young people.  At Pentecost, we will confirm a few adults at the Spanish Mass.  It is a very busy Easter Season here at Immaculate Conception.  Let us pray for all those who will receive Sacraments during this Easter Season.

For now, we continue our walk with the Lord.
