Monday, November 1 is the Solemnity of All Saints.  It is normally a Holy Day of Obligation, however when it falls on a Monday is not obligatory, so we will just have our normal 8am Mass for this great feast day.  Tuesday, November 2 is Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed (All Souls’ Day).  We will start our All Souls Novena of Masses on Tuesday.  Last year, we were unable to have our yearly Mass of Remembrance for all in the parish who passed away over the past year.  This year, although slightly different than years previous, we will have our Mass of Remembrance and recall all who died in the parish over the last two years.  The Mass of Remembrance will take place on Saturday, Nov. 6 at 12noon in the Church.  All are welcome as we pray for our parish family members who passed away over the past two years.  If you would like your family members remembered in our All Souls’ Novena, please fill out an envelope and place it in the collection basket or bring it to the parish office.  All Saints and All Souls highlight how close we are to the Saints and to our loved ones who have gone before us and show us the way towards heaven.  All holy Saints of God, pray for us!  May the faithful departed through the mercy of God, rest in peace!

For now, we continue our walk with the Lord.
