Often times people ask how can I help those in need. We often say give to the food pantry and outreach. A wider way we can help is through the Catholic Ministries Appeal (CMA). It helps reach the neediest among us spread throughout of Long Island. It also helps with evangelization though Campus Ministries on our college campuses. The CMA helps to support formation of our Seminarians, Deacons and lay faithful. Lastly, the CMA helps our parish as we reach our goal of $62,100, 20% about $12,000 comes back to the parish. Anything over goal, we get 80% of that back the parish. We are about $3,600 from our goal. This weekend second collection is for the CMA and will hopefully get us to our goal. For those who have already given thank you so much. For those considering a pledge or a donation thank you for your prayerful consideration as we reach out those most in need and help them during this difficult time.
