Easter is a very special time for the Church. At the Easter Vigil, we typically baptize, confirm and give First Communion to adults who were never baptized, or we welcome those who have been baptized in other Christian communities, with Confirmation and First Communion. At the Easter Vigil, last Saturday, we fully initiated four people. On Saturday, April 29, with Bishop Dunne we will celebrate the Sacrament of the Confirmation with about 26 of our young people.
In May, we will celebrate First Communions with about 50 of our young people. At Pentecost, we will confirm a few adults. It is a very busy Easter Season here at Immaculate Conception. Let us pray for all those who will receive Sacraments during this Easter Season.
Congratulations to all who will receive their Sacraments during the Easter Season!
For now, we continue our walk with the Lord.
