The 2023 Novena to the Holy Spirit

The 2023 Novena to the Holy Spirit begins May 19.

The Church proposes a liturgical Novena, of biblical derivation, before Pentecost. The Roman Calendar speaks of the days between Ascension
and Pentecost as “a preparation for the coming of the Holy Spirit,” a time to prayerfully consider the role and power of the Holy Spirit in the Church.
