Thank you
Last Sunday at Fr. Richard’s 50th Anniversary Mass, he quoted Morris West about three phrases in our spiritual vocabulary, “Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!” Fr. Richard thanked so many people who helped him along his priesthood. I am likewise thankful for Fr. Richard and all the priests who I have served with. This Saturday is the Priesthood Ordination of Steven McClernon. He will then be sent to the People of God in the Diocese of Rockville Centre to serve them and God. Corpus Christi enables us to give thanks for the Eucharist and by extension the priests who serve us. Friday, June 16th is the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and also World Day of Prayer for the Sanctification of Priests. It is a good time to pray for your priests, those that serve you, have served you and will serve you.

Farewell Mass and Move Day
Many have asked, Fr. Mike’s Farewell Mass will be on Sunday June 25th at 11am Mass in the Parish Center with a reception to follow in the Parish Center. Fr. Mike will be moving on Wednesday, June 28th and Fr. Ken will be moving in the same day! We continue to pray for our priests and our parish as we come closer to these days.

For now, we continue our walk with the Lord.
