A Message from Father Tom

Dear Parishioners,

As we celebrate Labor Day this weekend, I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you all for making me feel welcomed here at Immaculate Conception Parish. Summer has gone by quickly, and I’ve been working on settling into my new home. I’m still getting to know everyone and trying to find my way around. For a small town, there is definitely a lot of activity around here, especially this time of year.

We are getting ready for the new year of school and faith formation classes. I am excited to see our parish in action as we start up our regular routines. We will continue to get to know one another as we pray together and deepen our relationship with the Lord.

I want to thank all of you who volunteer in the various activities in our parish. We need volunteers so that we can accomplish everything we do from praying together at Mass to feeding the hungry and teaching our young people the faith. You help make this a vibrant parish- Thank you.

We have many people who are financially generous too and this helps us to take care of the financial needs of the parish and maintain our buildings throughout the year. It is a very complex operation to keep everything going and in good repair. Even with money coming in, maintenance can be a challenge. We are currently working on fixing the elevator in the parish center and things are taking longer than expected. Thank you for your patience and generosity.

I look forward to the months ahead and pray that God will continue to bless and guide us in our faith.

With gratitude, blessings & love to you and your families,

~Fr. Tom
